Hi madho,

I don't think so there would be any quota for IT Professionals anymore. Seniors! Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

It's to early to predict about quota for 2012!!!
Many (including me) are waiting for our update and status under NOC 0213 (IT) who applied under MI-1.

Please don't confuse QSW with Federal. You can apply anytime for Quebec. For 20212  there would be almost 55,000 applicants to be accepted. But remember not to use QSW as a gateway to enter in Canada. Cheers

Quebec has it own immigration program. You can read the announcement of Ms. Kathleen Weil for 2012 QSW Program on the following link:

Thank you for the link.Gives me much relief.
I would never use Quebec as a gateway to Canada , getting a PR itself is a blessing.I just need to find work and settle in Quebec thats all.

Kind of find funny, Canadian Minister telling these stories to this news paper.. I doubt the credibility of this news paper.
This would have certainly made big headlines everywhere.
