Hi,

First you did a Bachelor
in Computer Science and then a second
Bachelor in Arts,
and finally a Master in
Economics, now you are aspiring for a PG Diploma in Accounting.

Are you sure if your course line is relevant?

I guess it would be better if you look for a course related to Economics. A masters even. You can fancy your chances for admission as well.

Note: Admission in a masters program will strongly add to your profile as compared to a Diploma.

I did two years bachelors..in computer science...two years bachelors in arts ..and then two years masters in Economics...

to be honest friends I am very much confused which course should I choose?

I am not interested in taking Economics.... I am interested in taking accounting it is because..my recent job experience is in accounting at least of three years.

Thats why...I am choosing accounting.... I don't have previous degree in accounting so I will have to go for PGD....
I respect your advises and really really appreciate it.

your guidance will be appreciated... Smiley

Hi,

There is absolutely no need to get 'confused'. All you need is to stop looking at PG Diploma/Certificate in a non relevant field.

Take GMAT and score 550+, and apply for a MBA. You have a great chance to demonstrate your standing with 3 degrees in different fields.

And if you are really interested in account, you can try for CMA Certification (Chartered Management Accountant) in Canada as well. CMA is NOT a degree/Diploma.

In short, it could be;

MBA + CMA certification.

But brother the problem is that I cannot take gmat right now...
I am short of time..and I have to apply soon...

I considered your advice and looked for MBA...course last night...I found MBA in Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia...

They ask for GMAT....besides ...my GPA is very low....

But they also offering Pre-MBA and Bachelor Diploma in Accounting....
What do you think about Pre-MBA.....

Hi,

1. No idea how much Visa officer would love to see Pre MBA clause on your LOA. TRU is a low grade MBA course provider.

2. With a good GMAT test score, you can cover up low GPA (still you need a minimum % marks to apply).
