Hey Rick

You should not worry about your GAP as long as you have proper explanation/justified reason for it. Different people support their GAP period differently so if I were you I wouldn't apply unless i have solid reason+proof to cover/support the GAP.

As long as you can provide the details of what you did in gap years you can get the visa.

You said you had a 2 year gap and you have got the visa now. We would appreciate buddy if you could explain how you expained/justified your 2 year gap to CHC and what all documents you submited to support it (gap).

I did not attach any document to prove or cover up my 2 years of gap.

i did not do anything in the first year after completing school and my last work experience was till feb 2009.

and i applied in may 2010 for visa.

under SPP you have to show just 80% loan of fees and 20% savings.

i did the same.....10 lakh of loan and 5 lakh liquid money in savings account, income tax return of Rs 423000.

my school certificates,marksheets,multimedia certificate,2 years of work experience as a graphic designer, film editing certificate and 7 months of work experience as a video editor.

Thats it.

they called me for interview and i cleared the interview.

i advice not to show too much money under SPP and dont attach too many docs For eg: property documents.

I hav 2yr of continous gap since may 2008 after my graduation.but  I can cover 6 month by showin training certificate in a IT company from feb 2009. What did they ask u in Interview. How did u explained about ur gap since feb 09.

they did not ask me anything about my gap.

If they will ask u that what did u do after ur IT certificate just tell them that u was looking for some good colleges and was preparing for ur visa file or u was concentrating on ur visa file.

i applied for M.Sc course....my sponsor is my real uncle (my afther's brother)...i attached the proof of relationship of my real uncle to me, i show them affidavit of support and also all the other supporting documents....any idea abt if the sponsor r not parents or brother but real uncle (father's brother), wat r my chances....?

also u said that u were called by the embessy for the interview...ok does embessy call or email the candidates for the interview...?

yes your uncle can sponsor u but i am not sure abt the chances of getting Visa.

They dont email you but can mail u the letter for interview only if they have any doubt abt ur documents or if u are applying during may,june and july becoz they get so many files during this time and to get the file processing done easily they ask students to give interview.

ok there are columns on the application form abt SPOUSE OR COMMON LAW PARTNER.........so wat we do with dat ? if no one is going to accompany us then i have to not do any thing with those columns or i write sumthing actually i made them empty coz no one is going to accompany me and im a single

Dont attach university letters becoz u are applying almost at the end of the file sumbission days,these days are very hectic for them.

If u are applying under SPP....let me tell u again, dont attach extra documents untill they ask for it.

just go with ur academic documents,work experience certificate,offer letter,loan letter and bank statements,ITR.

Ask ur agent.

and my IELTS score was 6.5.
