Folks,
I have had various answers/ideas on this. Can someone (may be on experience) confirm this. Might be a cliched topic but this is extremenly important for me.

Can the sponsor be married to someone else (separated from wife for 2 years) while trying to sponsor some one under common-law class or Conjugal partner class? Please clarify both the scenarios (common law and conjugal)?

Immigration manual talks about only Principal Applicant being married to someone else....
