is student loan/OSAP social assistance?

I first arrived and became PR in January 2008.After worked with minimum pay for 3 months, I went back to my origin country.I married my wife in July 2008 and came to Canada in april 2009.I worked for 10 dollars a hour again till now.I sent my sponsor application and my wife's PR application in June and she recently received a letter from a visa office asking for my(the sponsor) employment letter, rental agreement, every pages of my passport, my credit card transactions,my T4,CRA tax return,......
Is there a minimum income requirement to sponsor a spouse?!
In fact,I will go back to school for a master's degree this september and probably need a student loan/OSAP and will not work any more.
Some people said that just give the officer all the docuemnts they require and do not tell them I will go to school. As a full time student, I will not have income and, I and my wife will live on a student loan, so that the officer will not issue my wife a PR

Some other people told me that the officer is checking if I am still living in Canada and will live here for long,so that  I should tell him I will study at a university. It is a good proof that I and my wife will live in Canada for long,
What shall I do? Any one can help me make a decision? thank you very much in advance

No student loans or OSAP is not considered social assistance as you have to pay it back. It is a loan.
There is no minimum requirement for sponsering your spouse but it is advised to show a good plan as to how you both intend to sustain yourselves in the future.  You should never NOT tell an officer something. That is considered misrepresentation.  But do be open and give them all they requested.  Also supply them with what you are studying and what kind of job you will get after... the more open you are the better.  They just want to know you wont be going on social assistance there.

Thanks for your reply.
I am confident that I can achieve my career goals after I complete my study.I hope that the VO can understand that it will be easier for me to spend this tough time if my wife live with me.
