Is need to do ielts test again

I had cleared IELTS test on 5 sep,2009 with 6.5 band.
On 29 sep,2010 CIO sydney office mail me to submit my documents at new delhi visa office.
Please tell me whether this ielts test is valid or not.
Is there need to do ielts test again?

as per qorax   :  you have to redo ielts if your band score 5 or 5.5

VO does not consider over all band. VO considers band in individual section (R, W, S, L); If all sections have points around 6/6.5 then you should be safe.
IELTS validity is for 2 years but VO considers IELTS taken with in one year, IELTS taken on 5 Sept 2009 would be consider by VO if submitted on or before 4 Sept 2010.

I strongly belive that IELTS authority has some unfair $$$$ contract with CIC.
This is my assumption. IELTS is administered by British and Aussie people. Canadian accent is totally different than that of UK and Australia.
