Hello,

If anyone out there has the same situation as I am in?

I submitted my PR application in late March 2009 and visa extension in early May 2009. The whole time I did not get any letter from CIC, no letter for the client id number, no letter for the first stage of approval, no letter for saying that my case has been transferred to local CIC, etc. And my eCAS always stayed with two lines:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 2, 2009.
We started processing your application on April 21, 2009.

I managed to get my client id number from the call center after 4 months of slice waiting. In the beginning of September I received my visa extension and it is valid till August 2010.

Yesterday I checked my eCAS and surprisingly to find 2 more lines on it:

Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

What does that mean? Does that mean my application has been approved? Or actually there's a good chance that it has been denied and that is why I have not received any letter from CIC? And if that is the case, why did they give me an extension till August next year?

I am truly excited, confused and worried.

Hope someone can answer me!

Thanks in advance.
