Thank you ranjaaa for sharing this experience. Is your friend an old applicant. You know I've been waiting for more than 5 years now and still waiting. I'm tired tired tired of waiting. I need any clue or signal that would show me a positive thing in my application. That's why I'm always asking. I will not of course take any decision as per now but I would like to hear from other people's experiences: is it the normal thing after medicals that you will get your visa? How much is the percentage of not getting it at this considered final stage?

Medicals do not gaurantee Visa. In most cases I have seen on the forum that after medicals, applicants get visa but there have been cases where the visa have been rejected after the medical and PPt request.

Also the letter clearly says at 2-3 different places that please do not assume that request for med or PPT means that decision has already been made.
