hey there, I wil try to answer to you as much as I know.
1- I guess the public school are free
2-I guess, yes children are given money from the government, but not sure ...make research.
but one question, I guess you were suppose to include your children in your application since they ae under 18.
I tried to answer you as much as I know, but make research, sure you will find answer, good luck

hi to all,
actually yes.i did include my kids in my application under FSW. i am still in the philippines and me and my husband are waiting for our visas hopefully by the end of this year.my kids are included but i marked them as non accompanying because i cant provide for the total funds i need for the 5 of us.ill apply to sponsor them upon landing in canada.i have some more questions though, robertbola and rorita_76 and to everybody too...

1. how long do i have to be in canada before i can sponsor my three kids?
2. do i have to be employed before i am able to sponsor them?
3. can i sponsor them all at the same time?
thanks again.......

Rorita is absolutely correct. For kids education (Primary or Elementary and High school ) you don't need to pay tuition fees but you are still responsible to pay for suppliers list provided by the teachers at the beginning of the year such as pencils, folders, tennis balls lol for tables, erasers etc
Another tuition around $30 to $40( it may varies between schools) agenda for the kids to communicate between teachers and parents and outing for school year end.
However if you decide to put your kids in private school that might cost you a lot and it's not covered.
Regarding Child Tax Benefit. Every child under 18 is entitled to one depending on the total family income. The more the income is high the less child benefit you will receive and it's paid monthly so every year they base it on your income tax submission and it's divided to 12 equal payments (July to July). the following is a link regarding Child Tax Benefit.

Hope I answered to your satisfaction!!!
