I am moving to canada in couple of months and didn't want to carry everything in cash. Is it possible to open bank account in Canada from US and transfer money without personally being there?

I tried HSBC but they are located in Florida and I live in Texas.

Please help.

Cant you open an hsbc account online?  Roll Eyes Check scotiabank I think you can open an account online
