yes its possible...if you dont have your working visa posted on your passport when you travel to singapore or hk. and send your passport back to philippines and authorized somebody to get your visa. then you can exit anywhere.

You can exit even if you have the visa stamped on your passport. It depends on how you deal with the immigration  @  the airport. My friends from Bangkok, Thailand did that...they had their visa for Canada but they went home before they came here and exit again in Bangkok, Thailand to avoid the PDOS and everything...

Hello
Is there a possibility to apply for work permit outside of the Philippines (live-in caregiver)? My friend has a LMO and CAQ but wants to apply for visa and work permit outside of the country to avoid the long waiting times. is it possible to apply from taiwan for example, if she goes to visit there? do you actually have to be in the country where you apply?
thank you for your answers!

I have a friend with similar situation. He was advised by his Canadian employer not to go back to Manila as he plan to have vacation first before coming to Canada as he already have his Visa stamped on his passport. The Philippine immigration will question him and will have to ask to process POEA requirements before leaving.

       @ man415
good!! good for him...! I don't know what going on in this country (phi.) why they have to that with these people. we are doing a lot of              sacrifices just to apply jobs in other countries. I see them (government people) like a blood sucking monster..!! Damn, as long as "they" can see some dime inside your pocket, "they" will drain your to the last drop... I'm not happy to say this, but that's the fact. There's nothing wrong in implementing a law, it is just so wrong how "they" practice it..!!

Hi Serena, what i know is that, it's possible if you have a residence/working permit to such country. Like for example s/he is currently working in Taiwan that's consider a working permit or there's a temporary resident permit for that person who's going to apply. Check some agencies from taiwan and ask them, if they can help u.
