If the visa office has already issued his visa, they might not appreciate you making some changes now.  However, I believe it could be done.  You need to contact the visa office and ask what you should do.

Did you add your daughter to the application when she was born?  If not, she must be added and get her medicals before he lands as a PR, otherwise she can not be sponsored.

thank you for your prompt reply.yes we added our daughter and have done the medicals.the reason for the change is that we just realised we could have landed with my husband and then leave and come back later.we have sent an email to the visa office but it will be two weeks next monday but still no reply from them.what do you think.thanks again for your prompt responce

If they still don't give you any instructions, your husband must land before his PR visa expires and then start sponsorship of you.
