Am exactly on the same boat as you. I have not received my medicals yet and it's been almost the 90 days period over. Am worried also that it might get rejected. I hope to hear from the visa officer. If not then my lawyer will follow up with the visa office. I am so tensed

From my understanding it's within the 90 days period..., you will either get medical request or you will be rejected. This is what my lawyer told me

Hi okshan,

Where are you from? Who is your lawyer? I am in same boat for a longer time now and need some more input from you.

Thanks.

You can check the timelines for your visa office from trackitt.com
I'm sure there are plenty of applicants who have recieved there medical request, way after 90 days Smiley

Hello Marj,

I am from Turkey and I am applying from Japan, Tokyo office. I live there now so that's why. My lawyer will get in touch with the visa office in the first week of November in case I don't hear anything until the end of October.

To be more specific, my 90 days period will be over on October 30,2009. So, I have got 15 more days to go. I hope to hear until then. I am applying under 4131 category.

All the best of luck to you too Smiley

Thank you okshan brother,

I am from Pakistan, and I too am using a local lawyer firm. Unfortunately, I find that with the change in FSW fast track system, the poor lawyers are also guessing about the time line like us. My prayers for success in the your case.

Best regards,

M Anj

hi
one thing is there that they have to close the file within max a year either by accepting or rejecting. it may be possible that those who applied thru consultants are to go thru hard & lenghty process(more strictness, i want to say)
correct me if i am wrong
