Is it normal for the principal applicant to get an email before the sponsor?

I don't know how to tell if its from mississugua or not. The subject is citizenship and immigration canada:Information about F........   It styes my UCI and file number then saya this isto confirm that your application Has been received by cic on June 8th 2011.

Also I got the email the same day my wife made a call to cic about her app,in which the guy said he was shocked about how over due it was. And i got it not to long before she made the call. But I just checked my email yesterday. So maybe she's not approved yet.

Having an F number is positive I think... I don't even have one of those yet and positive again that you, as principle applicant, can log into ecas!
Hopefully other Buffalo applicants can confirm if they have received similar emails...  

Let me know if you hear anything else and/ or if you want me to update the spreadsheet with the "potentially" good news

Hello Kourt,

Maybe your wife's email is in the SPAM mail, try to check that. Or I have heard cases that people never received it and did inquire and CIC said they emailed it. So who knows.

The good news is you have your UCI number which you can logged in. It will never be created or sent to VO if your wife was denied to become your sponsor.

If you want, use you receipt number and then your wife's info to log in to EcAS. I am pretty sure it is Decision Made for her.
