Hi,

Thank you for the link. But will there be any problems if we re enter with the PR cards..?  Does any one did that? I mean entered canada with the pr cards, which were mailed to them out side of canada by friends or relatives..?

Thanks

Yes, I mean re-enter with the pr card.

I mean like any immigration problems.. The case goes like this. Landed first time in canada with PR visa and copr. Gave friend or relative address where the pr cards can be mailed, if the immigration officer accepted at the time of landing or called cic call center to update the address. Left canada before receiving the pr cards. The passport has the arrival date of the country, where you were going from canada, Got the pr cards by mail to your current country by friends or relatives by mail.

Now you are re-entering the canda with the pr cards. Will there be any problem..?

Thanks
Lee.

No, there is no problem entering Canada with a PR card that has been sent to you.

Why would you think it would be a problem?

Hi Baloo,

I saw in this forum, for some people the immigration officer didn't allow them to give friends or relative address by saying provide address when they permanently move.

Thanks
Lee

There is no doubt in my mind that officers have refused (delayed) issuing a Permanent resident card in some circumstances.

Just provide the address, no long story.
