Hi All,

I got my PR Visa stamped and need to do my landing record. I have my cousin in Toronto. I would like to go to his place first on road. Can I do landing anywhere in canada or since i am nominated by Alberta, I should definetly do it in Alberta and do i definetly need to provide address in alberta to receive PR cards while filling forms in Canada immigration site ?

If anybody completed landing formalities at other locations other than Alberta, please share your experiences.

Thanks

Since November 2010, they are cracking down on PNP applicants they believe do not intend to settle in their PNP provinces, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2010/ob251.asp

If you must land in Toronto, it would therefore be advisable to have a ticket taking you to AB after a short vacation in Ontario.
