Hi All,

I submitted my initial application and it reached CIO on June 3rd 2010.
My Credit card has been charged today and it stated canadian immigration.
does that mean, i will receive my AOR in few days?is it a good response or can it be rejected even after charging the amt?

please advise.

Hi,

Its good that your credit card has been charged but dont get over excited as i have seen some april applicants whose applications were returned even after there CC were charged but its a very slight chance of rejection. You should get your AOR in 15 days.

Hi 15 days maybe for some few ppl. but for me its already around 3 weeks...

Don't worry, it varies from 1 week to 6 weeks.

I received mine after 4 weeks. Smiley

I received it in 2 months but usually it takes 2 weeks after charging your credit card.

The reason why it varies so much, is because it is case by case , which means it depends on  how your documents are presented.

sounds reasonable... my case was pretty easy not sure it took them so long....   

some ppl even say cic is filling caps for post june 26, why is that?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

hi gsidhu, you probably need to contact CIC (Fax or Call)..  coz as I read from other topic (june applicants), the hotline mentioned that the processing of AOR is within 10 weeks from the time your CC was charged.. looks like yours is more than 10 weeks.. but nothing to worry about.. coz I haven't seen anyone receiving 1st AOR.
