After CIO  recommends further assessment of  the application at the Country specific visa office, then according to the EG7 document application and all supporting documents are to be submitted within 120 days (4 months). The mail from CIO says  120 days.

Is it 120 days or 4 months ie for example if I count from Sept 30, 2010, 120 days end on Jan 28th but if it is 4 months it would be Jan 31st.

You should note that the 120 days only applies to applications submitted before 26/06/10, full applications after that date.

Hi PMM,

Do you mean application and all supporting documents to be sent initially.
Could you please elaborate in detail.
I am gathering documents and will send by the end of this month.
What abt PCC??How much time do I have to send my PCC after applying.
I still didnot apply for PCC.

Thank you

no need to provide PCC to CIO at the moment, the validity of this document is only three months. VO will ask for that later after you get 1st AOR. if you have lived in the US for more than six months, please aware that the PCC of FBI needs at least 10~12 weeks to have it. I have no idea about PCC of other countries. good luck and best wishes.

PCC in India can be obtained the same day from the regional passport office.

Dear PMM,
So what about applications submitted post 26/06/2010? How much time will be given to them to submit remaining documents like PCC. I submitted my initial set of documents to NS, Sydney on 1st week of January 2011. Even my cc got swiped in less than a week's time. so what happens next? when do i have to submit pcc according to new fast track immigration rules?

thanks,
regards,
arcticmaple.
