Student Visa for Canada

My name is Asifullah & I am working as an Accountant in Dubai. I apply for Canada as a Student in ACCA part 2nd. Today I will receive my acceptance latter from Canada.I just need to ask you Some question if you don't mind. Actually here in Dubai I have one friend he want to sponsor me and also I have some balance in my own account so what you think it will help me to get the Visa are not? i have done my IELTS test in 2006 and i got 5.0 bands in that time so they will ask to do it again?

Hi, CIC will be interested in finding out how you are related to your friend who is willing to sponsor you financially for a study permit.  It normally helps if it is a relative who will sponsor and not just an ordinary friend.  Go to the website of your local Canadian High Commission and see if there is information about this.  Or call their call center also in your location.

I am not sure but I think IELTS is valid for only 2 years (if not 1 year).  Your 2006 results are expired and you will have to retake another exam.  Minimum IELTS band will depend on what your school requires.  Check their website for international students, or send them an email to ask what will be minimum acceptable band.

Oh you applying for acca part 2 as well as me  but they are asking me for cvs full employemt history and education i am working as assistant accountant did they asked u the same

hi,
your IELTS in 2006 is not accept, you must take another sure. the sponsor mostly is your closed relative, if not you must demonstrate the relationship between you and this person, why he or she agree to support you .... (so hard)

Unfortunatley they will not accpet your friend to sponsor your due to your proximity relationship
