My nanny has a work visa but has not been here the 3 months yet to apply for OHIP. The vaccines clinics are starting to roll the H1N1 shots out Monday the 26th, can she get it for free too??

You need a health card to avail of the H1N1 vaccine. Also, you have to meet the criteria in order to be eligible for it.

Just as an update, NO you do not need a health card. My nanny got the vaccine no problem yesterday. She just said she had a work visa and no health card and Ontario Public Health said no problem as she is working with children. Not sure if other provinces will do the same, but I suspect they would???

Because she meets the criteria, but if she didn't work with children, I doubt it if they have given it to her
