hi everyone,

i was about to apply for the sponsorship of my parents although i am about 200 dlls short of meeting lyco,,,i thought this wouldnt be a big problem however, when i did my taxes this april, i filed for gst/hst credit since on 2010 i worked only 6 months so i was considered eligible,,,,then, i got the credit, about 150 dlls every 3 months deposited to my account

but now someone told me that if this is considerd social assistance or welfare i could not apply for sponsorship at least not this tax year that i am receiving the credit,,,,is this correct??? anyone knows?Huh
