Can FDR (3 months term maturity) be showed as POF in application?

Yes. But you might be asked to show proof again prior to closing/finalisation of your case.

FDR can be used to be POF. About 3 months maturity duration, VO can ask about the source of funds. Sudden deposit of large funds can be taken as borrowed money unless you have documents to show that you sold some assets.

explorer101 is very right I want to add one thing that Tenure, i mean duration of the TDR is not a problem as long as you have the option to premature it.

If u are short of money than no need even to have FDr,
Go for saving account's statement by depositing money once.
COZ by having FDr for 3 months is useless if u cannot extend it further

Hope it helps.
I diid the same ,and again I deposited money in saving account when they asked PPr,Meds etc
