Within the past 10 years, I have work experience with valid NOC code. But presently, I have been freelancing for the past 12 months, will this affect my application? I will appreciate input from forum members. Thanks.

Hello vic77..

Welcome to the forum.

No it will not badly affect ur status.
As long as u have at least 1 year experience of one of the required occupations (NOC), u can apply.

The experience itself counts, not when u had it as long as it's within the past 10 years.

Good luck.
