Hey mates, i am a little confused with the way CIC handles the issue of PR card waiting time ,
I mean why should they write on their website that the waiting time is 30 days for new landed immigrants if they can't respect it? some days ago, they updated to 43 days  and someone like me has been here for 43 days , still nothing , i wonder why they can't write 3 or 4 months and then respect it it instead of writing so short periods and then delay all the time . some people make their program according to what they write.
The officer at the port of entry said it will take 6 weeks , they write on the website 30 days and now 43 days , but still they can respect it
that's so fustrating Sad

It is frustrating...but human beings will never get satisfied! Just before you got the PR visa you had the patience of waiting for a number of months...Now that u got it..it's paining to wait for the PR card while inside!! It beats logic...Stop been a cry baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you can't push the system dear friend!! Easy up...

Thanks for your comments ,
but i don't need any lesson from you , and i wonder who you are to write to me like that , you called me a baby? a little respect please..... , it is not an obligation for you to write under this post , there are several other ones , do you know my schedule? my business? my emergenciees? A  delay is always fustrating , if you are a human being  having common sense , you will feel it even when you have a flight delay at the airport you are fustrated , so my friend it's none of your business, mind your own application please and do not give me lessons, many of those who replied before you  are in the same situation and they are fustrated and impatient because CIC gives a timeline and very often does not respect meanwhile some people have a schedule according to what CIC says. Other members of this forum who are  feeling the same like me certainly got bugs to catch , if you do not , just zip it.
No lessons to receive from you.
Thanks

Today the receiving PR card processing time changed from 43 days to 35 days for Newly arriving permanent residents  In CIC website.I do not know if I receive my PR card till 11th Sept. (I return to my country on 11th)
Could you please share your recent experiences or your friend's experiences with me? I mean the people who received their PR cards in this month. How long did it take?

I just received my card a moment ago , 45 days exactly after landing , thanks a lot to those who encouraged me , i am relieved now.
Those still waiting , if you have been waiting for more than 6 weeks , then call  CIC they are friendly and they can give you the state of your application...
