Is Beirut, Lebanon a Visa Office to Process Spouse Applicatoins!!? IMM 0008

I just wanted to make sure that i put the correct Visa office in the Generic Form for Canada,.IMM 0008 where it asks "Immigration Office Requested for Procesing Application" Should i write Beirut, Lebanon or shoudI write Damascus? I am confused??

beirut doesn't process applications for spousal sponsorship. they are just a point of contact in case they ask you for an interview

if you put beirut then you also have the choice to go submit your passport there when they ask you to for the visa. you won't have to go all the way to syria. but anyway i selected beirut i should've selected syria... cuz if you select beirut and drop off your passport there might take anoter 2-3 weeks for you to get it back

beirut is not a visa office for sponsoring spouses so you should write damas. but i guess if you wrote beirut its fine they still know where to send your documents.

but if you look in the appendix a it says which  visa office do you want as your point of contact  damascus or beirut. and that's only for when you need to go give your passport in person.

Maybe you should read the FAQ from CIC on applications going to either Beirut or Damascus?  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/beirut-faqs.asp

ok yes I read It and? do you see anything different than what I said By the way FYI I  contacted the Beirut visa office in the beginning of the process they told me we don't process files Damascus does. we are your point of contact for interviews and visa submission.
