We got canada visas stamped on our passport and we are planning to land in canada. As i have some responsibilities and commitments at my job here in USA, we would plan to come soon in a week's time for now and go back to canada after a few months. I am currently in USA on h1b visa which was renewed 6 months back.

Question:

While coming back to USA would i need to stamp my USA visa? I have also heard about "Automatic Visa Revalidation" rule that says if we go to canada from USA and return within 30 days then we do not need to stamp our visa. We would be allowed to re-enter USA just by showing our passport and visa extention papers.

can someone please confirm on this?

thanks.
