Hello I am also sponsoring my husband from Iraq, his file is transferred to Damascus and check out timelines for Damascus-it is usually faster. I am in Canada, he is in Iraq now. The processing started in Sept.8, and until now nothing, just waiting.

So you sent your application to Mississauga on Sept. 4. I am assuming you are sponsoring someone from iraq.Anyways, damascus started processing our file on Sept. 8. Until now NO NEWS. It's too early i think for any update. Isn't your file in Damascus by now?
