Application shows an online status of "in process" from 7 March 2006. Have submitted all necessary documents including a 2nd urine test for me (indicating a benign prostate enlargement) which I started to take medicine for. According to the examining doctor; my medical condition will constitute no issues (refusal). Any similar experiences guys?

I've just received this email today from CHC London in responce to my inquiry about latest feedback re my case:

Please be advised that we await the results of routine background enquiries. We are unable to give a timeframe for these enquiries, however, we will write to you when we are in a position to do so.

We hope this information is of assistance to you.

How long will these routine background enquiries take? and when they actually stamp the CAN PR visa on passport; how long is this visa valid for?

Hi orchan,
I just found this thread. I am happy to post a reply. However I applied April 2010 and got my 1st AOR, submitted my full docs on 29th sep...and nothing yet.
Glad to find Iraqi around.
