07/01/2009 My application received by embassy
14/04/2009 Embassy informed me my application is subject to amendments and request for submitting full application
08/08/2009 Embassy acknowledge receiving my full application
11/01/2010 Following my enquiry informed me, my application under goes further investigation

Still status is "IN PROCESS"
As per CAIPS, application still pending on secondary crim checks (known as background checks).

I am 2004 applicant and it is more than 2 years that my back ground checking is ongoing !!!!!!!!!!!!

Background checks can take a very long time. Canadian agencies must work with agencies in the countries where you have stayed and if those countries are not cooperating, it can delay the process even more.

My application also recieved on Julay 27,2009 and was transfered to london office. Since June 4 ,2010 stilllllllll is on process.
I sent two enquieries , the first one was mentioned :the file is under background checking and second reply was :your file is waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer,No idea if it means that my background checking is finalized or not .
