 @ fermel,

Though i have submitted iqama translation but am pretty convinced that it is not that important and as asked by CIC just a visa copy should suffice.I did it after getting enormous stress by few respectable senior fellows here. Your job title contradiction may put you in trouble as they seem pretty serious about assessing your job responsibilities against the NOC mentioned.

So I will not pass the copy of iqama, the "visa that should surface"  that you are talking about is the visa that is placed in the passport right?.Tnx hasni.

Copy of iqama for a Saudi resident applicant is not an essential document for submision to CIC.

I have recently completed my application and was asked by consultant to provide proof of residence in the country outside of home country. In this case, i would recommend you attach a translated copy of your iqama with your original iqama copy as "True copy of original" and get it attested by chamber of commerce. That should do.

Regarding your iqama title and original job, i would recommend that you let your employer metion this in your experience letter. They should clearly state that your job is "xxx" however your work permit title is "xxx" due to whatever reason. This is a common problem that every other applicant from this region faces however you should present truth as people assessing should also understand.

In my case i was lucky that the job title is matching my degree title and the category i have applied in however still my current title is not inline with the iqama title and that because you get promotions, change your job responsibilites according to company requirements etc and its very difficult to chage your work titles as you change your job titles.

Hope this helps and good luck.
