 Hello,
My family and I are trying to apply for PR under Investor category.

Let's say that my family and I applied for PR with my dad as a principal applicant, and let's just assume that the PR has granted and that my dad invested 800K to a Canadian government.

now, if my mom and dad choose to give up PR before the 5-year period is over, will my dad still get his money back from the government after the 5 year? or does he have to stay as a PR throughout the 5-year in order to get his money back?

 thanks
