I heard about investor class where you pay CAD $120,000 without getting the principal back in five years instead of $400K investment with payback.

For this case with $120K payment, when do you get your PR? Do we wait five years to apply? Or can PR be processed as soon as $120K is paid.

You apply, wait until the CIC/CHC is ready to issue a visa, and then if you haven't already invest the money.  Processing time 3-5 years depending on the office.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/03c-investor-fed.asp

Hi every one !
 I am new in this forum . I would like to share some information about  my case . I have been submitting under federal investor program . My initial application went out in Dec 2006 ; The requested documents sent to visa office in Singapore dated August 12, 2008;The interview was on Oct 1,2009. So far everything is ok . After the interview when asking the officer , I was told that I would receive the result of my application within 3 months . However I 
 have not received any feedback from them ( It is almost 7 months ) . It makes me anxious . Does anyone give me  some advice . Thanks in advance .
