Hi, I was looking for clarification on a topic. Some background about me: I am an intl student, will graduate next year May. I plan to get the required 1 yr work experience and apply for PR. However, do I have to complete 1 year before applying? This is the impression I got but I also read elsewhere on the forum that if I've been permitted to enter Canada, then I can apply as soon as I get the permit. What does this mean? If I get a job, and apply for a post-graduate work permit (which I'm eligible for), does that allow me to apply for PR right away or do I still need to complete working for a year?
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Two separate requirements ..

1) that you were admitted to Canada for 1 year
2) that you have 1 year of work experience

You need to wait until after you have the experience.

Get a job after graduation. With the job offer apply for post graduation work permit.

Now, apply for PR and also sent them the job offer.

post graduation work permit and PR application two are different streams.
