Hi friends, glad to share with u all that I have received a letter from pretoria cic office dated 25th June 2009, conveying provisional acceptance of my application for residence. Interview has been waived. Medical request forms enclosed. My time line as follows:-
Application sent to Novascotia 14th Jan 2009
AOR from CIU 20th Feb 2009 & file transferred to pretoria
Full application sent to Pretoria with supportings 6th April 2009
Application reviewed and processing started on 8th June 2009
Provisional acceptance and medical request letter dated 25th June 2009
I have been given 90 days time to complete medicals and pay RPRF fees.
I have a issue here. My wife is in india and is likely to  be back by first week of sept 09 ie too close for 90 days expiry.
I have following options (a) Do medical for self and children. send request to cic asking for more time for spouse' medical exam
(b) Do medical for self and children. Wife to complete medical in india (c) Wait for wife to return and get medicals done for all together but within 90 days.  Seniors pl advise which will be better option..

1.  Unlikely that you will get extension.  Have wife do medicals in India, have DMP in India send results to Nairobi RMC.

Congratulations......

I suggest that you get the medical done only from ONE place of your own choice. The wait time and chances of mix up is minimized.

Good Luck.
