let me  know  is  it  necessary  to  take  kids  along   with  you  for  the  interview   they  are   below   18   and  how  long  the  interview  goes  on

Most office request that you do not bring young children.  The interview could be 5 minutes, it could be an hour, suggest you order your CAIPS file to find out why the interview.

If they are children, they are not authorized to sign anything or make decisions, so they wouldn't need to go with you.  You would probably do better to not take them with you, as you have no idea how long it will take.
