Hi Guys,

Recently my e-cas started showing me that my application is "In Process" and the interview is on 3rd December. I have recently changed my residence. I thought it will be better to get the address changed on my passport before the interview but I am skeptical that if I submit the passport for address change and don't get it back before interview then I will not be able to present the passport during the interview.

I checked the Passport.gov.in site and there is a tatkal scheme. Should I be going for tatkal scheme to get my address changed? What are other suggestions? They also say that changing address is upto you and it is better to have the latest address on passport. CHC might object if I don't have the latest address on my passport. I am in a dilemma. What should I do?

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

How did you find out you have been scheduled to an interview date? Is it showing when you click on your Ecas "In Process" status? I mean when you go to Ecas and click on your status, It has been written your interview date is 3rd December or you got an email from visa office? Did you apply under fast track rule?

Yes, I saw it when I click on "In Process". Also, I received the letter from CHC about the interview. I applied under Fast Track FSW.
