Interview scheduled for January 20, 2011.

My Noc is 0632..can any one say the reason for scheduling the interview as i feel its rare..

Is that my chances have reduced..pls help..

There are some aspects that are not clear from the docs submitted and CHC is giving you a chance to put your point across on areas that need clarification

Interview is not common, but if you have all docs and no misrepresentation, there is nothing to worry

Hi Kris,
Need not to be worried, In my case they had asked me for additional doc. to submit within 30 days timeline to clarify the overlap between my previous rejected application and Current application on the very date they started to Process my application.

I guess, in yr case too definitely VO might have got some confusions like difference between yr application at CIO Sydney Canada and yr complete application at VO, or any overlap between yr study and Job , some confusions with yr Employer like address/contact problem, insufficient job duties, regarding yr marriage/relation, etc.

So pls go through yr application and complete doc. observe carefully as if u r a VO and prepare accordingly....All the best.

DO u know...? some interviews r so simple..like formality only and some r being completed too......

did you receive any employment confirmation call??

mostly interviews are regarding employment questions??

Get your CAIPS notes, that will prepare you better for the interview.
Please search the threads on how to obtain one at the earliest..

I'd have loved to be called in an interview. I got some words to say to the VO.
I'd directly challenge them for some misdeeds they did to me.
Interview is good. They are easy, I have faced Canadian VO's before. Things are easy. be truthful according to the papers you have submitted.

Actually with the help of my consultant i had prepared my forms in a best possible way..but i dnt knw still what is the confusion left..

I have not got any verification calls yet..

can i expect it anymore..

The key to successful interviews is preparation.Do your home work,review your notes ,try to remember key dates and avoid misrepresentation such as exagerating level of education and experience.
Like CIC put it clearly There is no excuse for misrepresentation,if you don't have a document we request,please provide a note explaining your situation.

So in other words the interview gives you an opportunity to confirm what you have submitted in writing

apply for CAIPS asap.. It takes 40-45 days.. so if you are interested for CAIPS apply & you may get it before your interview.
In CAIPS notes you may get exact reason for concerns of VISA OFFICE, and you can collect information what they want to have from you.

I agree with canada_dream100, apply for CAIPS ASAP. u still got time to get it before ur interview. I had an interview and CAIPS really help me a lot to prepare before hand. So apply for it because they call for interview based on your file so general ideas won't work why they might call as every case is different and unique to CHC.

What are CAIPS notes and how are they obtained?

They also pick names randomly. In my interview at Abu Dhabi the officer told me that they picked my name randomly and not to worry there is nothing wrong with the application.
