Hi my spouse has finally been requested for an interview outland application.

I have one question, would there be any cons if I go to the interview with er? I am confident in her but I just have been saving my vacation time so I can spend it there with her and help her gather her things ect before she lands.

So are there any cons of me going?

Any help would be nice..

If you are there, then you may also be interviewed in a separate room.

There is link to interview questions on the web page, click on that. Good Luck.
I hv heard that sometimes both the spouses are interviwed if they show up together in separate rooms..but if you think abt it...there shld be a visa officer free at that time to spend time interviewing each one separatley...
Either way...there is no need to worry if you know abt each other in and out. Good luck!

Well I don't mind being interviewed, I have nothing to hide. After waiting so long I just want everything to be perfect. I've read that sometimes if the sponsor is in canada then they will phone them after the interview to ask questions. I just don't want to go to the interview and have them bug me as too why I'm there, I guess that's my fear.

I saved my vacation to be with my hubby too for his interview. But we haven't decided yet if I should go with him to the consulate or stay in the hotel during his interview.

I went with my wife for my interview during christmas (it was a good time to be together). I did tell the IO that my wife was waiting outside but she did not bother interviewing her. So I guess it just depends on your case and the IO interviewing you. If you think you have a strong case and know each other well enough, it can actually be a good thing that you are both interviewed!
