Hi everyone! My wife went into interview May 24th, waited 2 weeks or so+received medic check request letter. Went to medic check,a week later was informed by the designated medic practitionner that the results have been sent to Visa Office (V-O) Could anyone tell me what approximate amount of time me and my wife should have to wait before we get more news, and what should we prepare meanwhile.. My wife asked me last night to write them an email, but throughout the whole sponsorship process i've wrote like 4-5 already, i dont want to hassle them too much,as we all know, they must be be overloaded with work, wouldnt want to get on their nerve.. Thanx!

Yesturday my wife just received a letter that states: CASE STATUS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREDThey only ask for criminal record of all family members age 18+ , it was also stated in the letter advising us for the interview that these shall or could be ask later on after interview. As she did the medic check and results were sent to V-O,and now having them asking for those criminal records(which is not a problem at all) -What i'm wondering is:where does that lead to? Since they didn't ask for passport.. As an official member of the HISP (hubbies-in-sponsoring-process) :I would just like to state--->Baby come HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!

Police clearance and med re-do requests are signs of being in the process of approving your wife's visa. They would not ask for her to re-do either after an interview unless they were soon to do so. The PPR will probably come once the updated PCC is received and added to her file.

loool Silentwind u r very funny and i see u stay up till late following this forum and probably e-cas...i tend to do it also, but trying my best not to...sleep is better and focus on other stuff is even better thanks for ur positive thoughts, my name is from the cartoon, i was really out of inspiration and searching for something cute; by the way, don't worry abt what they ask u extra....in general, all the applications which take long time, they will ask for updates, especially family members updates....either if they r accompanying her or not, just send whatever they want and don't question too much why...for sure it's good sign, any changes in the file means good sign and it means they follow it...what they ask does not necessarily mean more checks or anything u should worry abt, it could just b that they want everything up to date before they issue her the visa....good luck, it's getting closer, next month shamsia, close is relative word...for some close could b tomorrow, for others close could b in a few months LOL since it does not all depend on us, i cannot answer, we just advance which is good abt the medicals, i'm not too worried, already contacted DMPs, the medicals and the payment will be the last things to do...good luck, hope ur papers will arrive soon at Missisauga

Oh Miss.Mini i just happened to read your post,i already re-asked the question in other thread. I totally agree with you about just doing along with their request, but my wife is really not convinced about it, its not that we dont want to provide the additional records, but on one hand i want to do it quick, and if her parents-in-law records are really included, then we have to plan everything in advance so not to lose any time. It says 60 days after the date written on the letter,if not received, our application goes down the drain,i just dont want to have to send it like just 3 weeks before, just in case as for example:If the documents gets lost along the posting process. To prevent is better than to heal.
Btw i thank you very much for replying, and as to Miss.Mini i haven't heard about the cartoon, but yeah its a cool name! I wish u the best, may the distance between u and ur spouse become extra-mini vely vely soon! XP
