Interview called at CHC Isl instead of PPR1... what it could be about?

As opined by others I agree most probably its just a security check that you are the same person whose picture is on the passport. Gather some information about life in Canada and what to expect there and some general information about Canada itself. Get some general idea about the province where you plan to land. I remember my brother had an interview at CHC Islamabad in 2003 and he was asked about general information regarding Canada and his documents were screened. Be confident when you go there and keep your moral up. There is also a possibility that some thing they needed to ask which might have left before and as this is the final step so they want to confirm it with you now.

Actually that was quite old I mean year 2003 and if you know that time CHC Islamabad used to process cases for Pakistani applicants and not London. He told me visa officer looked at his educational transcripts and degree with a lens if they were genuine and asked questions about his employment. He had worked in middle east for some time. They did not phone anywhere else. He was also asked questions in general about Canada like what is population, culture, society, weather, what to expect there, etc

But in Faisal's case above I think that would probably be a security check or he can be asked questions in general but not regarding employment or education as he is not asked to bring his educational transcripts / employment letters. This is just my sole opinion.

Totally agree with pittabread, and I guess they'll take his passports right then and there and issue him a visa. Another way to cut time on issuing visas quickly before year end.

Simply nothing to worry about.
as this has been called after the MR, as other members said, its a quality assurance interview as it seems. keep all the info in your brain coz you'd have no chance to look at any papers during the interview.

Yes, my qualification do match with both, but out of the two they considered only one that is 4131.
