Interview at the Canadian Embassy
«

Hello everyone,
This is the second time I apply for a student visa. I was told that I have to be at the Canadian Embassy the 2nd of July for an interview regarding my student visa application.
I am pretty faithful and confident that this time I will get my visa.
I will post on this same thread the outcome of my application.

Hello,
I did my medicals the 2nd of July and was told about the interview the 23th of July.
I believe that in some countries is different, first they ask for interview and then medicals. Here in Mexico, the medicals always go first. The officer in charge of your file decides if an interview is required. On my last application, I did not get a call for an interview.
For this time, I believe there are 2 factors that made them require an interview:
1. This is my second application for a student visa since the first one was refused
2. I am currently working
In the requirements or list of documents the Candian Embassy needs, if I work or used to work recently, I must send the a recommendation letter from my last or actual employer; And on that same paragraph said that I have to write a letter explaining my motives to study at Canada and the reason I will quit my current job if the application is accepted. An interview might be required.
As I told you before, this is here in Mexico; As I read here on this forum, I discovered that sometimes other countries have different procedures.
