Hello..
I want to study HVAC in NAIT. I'm 33 old , is it a problem? I have a Bachelor in Accounting on 1999 also I have many certificates in computer like JAVA,ORACLE and Microsoft . I work as a Cost Accountant in the Electricity Ministry from 2003 . My father and I own a company. My question is there any reason the officer to refuse my study permit depends on the previous studies and the not related study?
Thanks

Hi I do not think that different field of study be an issue in the sense that you are free to study whatever you want, maybe if you are thinking further than that like in future apply in some program to live here, so you should put everything in line in order to help you to reach what you want, just like a sample, my bachelor degree is in business administration, most of my experience was a Purchasing agent and i came to study Human Resources Management because it was something that it likes me and i wanted to know more about that; i never was questioned why my studies were going in some different field than my previous experience.. this is my experience and my thoughts but someone else can have more strong reasons to advise you, just trying to help

for momin> When you are job-searching, you usually send a potential employer a resume and cover letter. First thing on your resume is usually you name, address, contact info, etc. Then you should have an “Objective” or “Statement of Purpose” briefly describing what kind of position(s) you are interested. The other sections of your resume include your past job experience, education, etc. Make it as easy for someone to catch your important aspects because most employers spend no more than 5-10 seconds on each resume. They will save a resume only if something catches their eyes. Now the cover letter accompanies the resume. And while the resume can be in paraphrased form, the cover letter is in perfect grammar/spelling explaining yourself. You may want to include how you found out about the position or what you know about the company that attracted you, etc. There is no rule on which gets looked at first. It just depends on the employer, but you want both to look impressive. Most online job application forms have an area where you put in the cover letter, along with all the info that usually goes into a resume. Good luck.

Dear mmhelaly
Nait is very popular in Edmonton. It is good one. You have B.Com and work as Cost accountant. I personally advise u to find out the course related to accounts. I mean specialization.

Hi, 1. Agreed. NAIT in Alberta is a far better option.
