Please help me on how to forward mails from USA to my native country (India).

Have you tried USPS website. I did my mail forwarding from US to US and this can be done through the website. I don't know if they do international mail forwarding. If they don't, you could always forward it to a friend's place in the US and they could just send you the most important letters.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Canada post does international forwarding but I don't know about the US.
