Can someone please reply to my inquiry...
How many months or week we expect to wait before they will notify you if you need to go for medical? And they will call, send email or send you letter? Please share your experiences and ideas for others knowledge as well, it will be very helpful. Thanking you all in advance for sharing.

Hi Cherry,
In my case, I submitted my application for work permit on Sept. 23, 2011 then I received my AOR and medical instructions on Oct. 22. To my knowledge, it will also depend on the number of applications received by the embassy, but in most cases it will usually take 1 month before you can receive your Acknowledgement of Receipt and your medical instructions (may or may not include). If your medical instructions is not included in your AOR then you still have to wait for another 1 month before you will receive it.

Thank you so much for sharing, I am just wondering because, I actually applied for a work permit as a front desk agent and I am currently working in a hotel right now. I am just little bit stressed because my friends friend got his visa after 1 week. He just had an interview and then he is done. Do u think when I will receive a notification from the embassy? Could it be after 1 month?

1 week? I haven't heard someone who received his visa in just 1 week. In most cases, application for a work permit usually take 3-4 months in processing. Notification from the embassy is just an acknowledgement that they received your application. As I have said earlier, Medical instructions may or may not include in your AOR. So, as a whole process you have to wait for 3 months from the date you have submitted your application before you can get your visa.

In my case, do you have any idea if i will have to g for medical? I had submitted my application last Nov. 23. My work experiences also related to my job there.
