Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you could please answer my questions.....

My wife (Canadian) and I (UK, Wales) were recently married here in Canada (31st July), and I am preparing my PR application via Spousal Sponsorship from Calgary, where we both live (I am currently here as a visitor).

1. The forms/CIC website are confusing me a little with regards the medical.  In some sections they state that once PR is approved that a medical will be requested and the document checklist needs proof of the exam having taken place - which is correct?  Do I need the medical before entering the forms?

2. If I am applying 'Inland', which visa office do I list on the forms?

Many thanks for any advice you can give,

Adrian.

Inland is vegreville

Medical can be done before or after its reccommended before as it doesn't hold up the process

its best to join the inland thread and ask ur questions there

May I ask why you are applying Inland?  You realise if you apply Outland via London, which you have the right to do, you could be done and a PR months before an Inland application is at stage 1 approval (AIP)?

Check out the London applicants thread.  London is averaging 90 days to approval after receiving the files, and CPC-M is taking about 66 days to approve sponsors.  That's a total 156 days, or just over 5 months, compared to 10+ months for Inland.
