My husband is an Inland PR applicant - in process - he was offered a job, will apply for a work permit and await the labour opinion.

Will applying for a work permit and accepting the job affect his PR application?  If so, will he have to switch his visitor visa?  At the moment he is just on a visitor visa and we were going to keep on renewing it until his PR application was approved.

Any help would be appreciated, we don't want to be doing anything illegal and mess up his application.

Cheers!

1.  He needs the LMO before he can apply for a work permit.
2.  As he is a visitor he must apply to either an outside office for the work permit or at a border port for the work permit.
