This form is for requesting Foss Notes.
I noticed that the form has changed. I last used
IMM 5563 (01-2012) E and on that form it clearly states FOSS electronic notes.
But on this new form I don't see any place to order just FOSS. I don't want to order the whole file, just FOSS.
Anyone else encountered this problem?

Thanks Charmaine. Not sure why they made this change though it's kind of confusing.
I think they somehow changed their system again. When I received the latest Foss I ordered, I was surprised that it's very different from the one they sent me before... It doesn't show the SS date anymore.. if the FOSS notes are the summary of everything ...the NEW foss notes are the summary of the summary... (If you get what I mean..) Now, I'm worried that the SS date that they gave me before which is Nov. 1, 2012 is now VOID or something....  Well, all I can do is wait... huhuhu! |

Hello Everyone, and fellow 2010 inlanders... its been a while since i visit the site i was waiting for an update to keep you guys updated , i Got AIp in late Nov 20 2011, 4months later (March 1st 2012) all requested Docs were attached on my Ecas, i had no words or update until today Aug. 27, i logged in and it says "Decision Made" but i have not received the letter, probably will get it in 5-7 days, not sure what the letter will say but im feeling mostly optimistic specially less than a month ago i spoke to a call center agent cause it was taking so long, he said they were waiting on final Background check and everything looked good & that i had nothing to worry about...Now, how long will it take to land after Decision made?? i am not sure maybe my fellow peers who been through the process can give me an idea, Btw im from montreal...to everyone else who still waiting for second stage, i know its a long process but try to stay positive, keep Faith and Hope alive, Best of Luck!

Just wanted to say that my pr interview is tomorrow; it has been a long journey and I am so glad it is almost over. I hope all of you get a positive answer soon. I know how hard it is to just wait and not knowing when it will end. Keep your chins up and good luck!

Hey Guys, I received the DM letter today! Stating "We are Pleased to Advise you that the processing of Your Application Has Been Completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Montreal Will Contact you Concerning Your Permanent Resident Status."  im not sure how long it will take for Montreal CIC to contact me but im Glad to be Near Landing!!! |

Hey, Any update from Etobicoke? I am still waitting. Just days ago they sent some forms to my wife to fill. We have completed this type of forms when we submitted our application, My Lawyer said that they wanted to use this form to update thier file since the old forms are outdated.

Hello Every1, Its been a while since i logged on here but just wanted to see if anyone landed in Vancouver yet? Since i got my OWP in Feb. 2012 they requested my police/background checks which were sent to them in April. I havent heard from them since that last request and was just wondering if anyone landed in Vancouver lately? My eCas shows no changes at this time! Still waiting  |

I'm sorry to hear about your waiting.
I have a non-accompany dependent too that you might remember. I'd like to suggest you contact with your home town CIC office or wherever your kids are instead of CIC in Canada. Because the agent was telling you the truth that the CIC in Canada has nothing to do until any feedback from your kids' local office.
When my kid received a letter from his local office, we were confused about what paper/docs to provide since they only sent him an blank checklist with a letter which asked him to provide docs within 60 days without pointed out what they wanted. I called call center at that time and they told me to talk to the kid's local office directly. Anyway, try to contact with your kid's local office. The other suggestion is to order CAIP which is for applicant outside Canada, maybe it will show some info about your kids if the local office has updated any info.

I saw on E-CAS today saying they just sent me the medical instructions AGAIN! My lastest foss notes shows it has been extended 1 more year since last Nov, but now I still have to redo it! After waiting for 22 months not transferring to local office, CIC is trying to kill all my patience in Canada...
