I felt bad that it's only 3 mons. since my AIP & i felt impatient... Hopefully will get good news soon:) Call center agent says yesterday to me that my medical result is now in there system & they are now verifying the police cert that I sent...

hello all,today i sign in to my ecas and no update yet but my wife tried to sign in to here ecas but cant access the ecas and she is the sponsor and i the applicant still can sign and check my status.....did anyone has experience this kind of unusual stuff......   |

Hi missha, what are the docs. they request you to send if you don't mind? When I sent my police cert. after a month my Ecas updated that they received the requested info. but not the med. result, though it's already in there system. Call centre will just give the generic answer, that it could take 8 mons. for the 2nd stage. Which we can't do anything & just wait. But hopefully will hear good news soon. |

Same situation for us...got AIP on April 21st, they requested canadian fingers prints....which we did....apparently they have recieved it..so the agent says....now waiting...we have ordered Foss notes....can't wait for the last 2010 people to get news.... |

So I called again yesterday. Took me about 45 minutes to actually talk to a real person. The lines were busy everytime and I just kept on calling them back over and over and over again until I got someone. Finally got to someone and I asked for my BFD. Well, she wouldnt give me a specific date but she said "Call back around the end of October" haha wow, end of October?
Well, it seems like I have a totally open window between now and October. No idea what I'm going to get up to between now and then. The waiting game continues.

I have a question. Our cases are similar. We applied for my wife May 2010 and got first stage approval in March 2011. In Feb. 2012 we got another letter to redo medicals which we did in March. But still waiting. Last time we called them was mid June and they said they will look at the file again around mid-July. Still no news. Did you get any news from your side? Thanks.

hi everybody, Just wanna share that I got letter lastweek dated July 9, 2012 that my PR application was completed. & Just wait for CIC Edmonton to contact me. Last monday I received a letter dated July 12, 2012 from CIC Edmonton for my landing date/interview, it will be on the 26. & Asking me to bring 2 pcs PR ID photo & RPRF. Will let you know my interview & landing experience... Hopefully everybody will get good news soon... You will be the next tozo & missha  |

I've been thinking about this thread and wondering what you guys have been up to. No, I still have not gotten any news. I called the hotline again yesterday and they tell me the same thing. They've gotten my medicals just fine, just waiting on the security and background checks. I'm actually probably going to have to renew my OWP in November. They only gave me 1 year. -sigh- |

I am still waiting too. 9 months after AIP...  I got the 2nd fossnotes and it only shows I got my medical extended a year but the criminality and security part are still blank. We contacted our MP this monday and hopefully it will help a lil bit. |
