Not sure if you guys know that alot of CIC offices are closing. I was supposed to be landing at the Gatineau local office in Quebec, however they are one of the ones that are closing. Well my stage 2 isnt finished yet, still waiting. But when I was going to land it was to be in Gatineau. I really dont think they would send me out to a 2 hour drive when there is an office that is 10 minutes away from my house...

Just called the CIC hotline asking how my file is doing and it's still waiting on my background checks. I did ask where I would be landing and she said "You will be going to Ottawa...oh wait I think it's Montreal....wait let me go ask someone" She comes back and she said that no one really knows. This is a bummer. I really hope that I dont have to go to Montreal. |
