I checked my ECAS and it said
A decision has been made and you will be contacted
Medical results have been received
We sent you a letter on ..... about the decision on your application to (my address). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us

The last two lines about the medical and a letter being sent appear just 3 days after the first line. That was a big surprise.
I am nervous waiting for the letter to see what happened. Just want to share with you guys my news.

Oh cool! How long does it take from sending the medicals to getting your DM?

Well! I cannot say exactly as my case is quite complicated.
I was asked to do medical exam on Feb 24, 2011. I took medical exam in middle of March, 2011.
Just few days ago, I called CIC and they said I have just been approved AIP and the medical exam has expired. I thought I will have to redo the medical, but finally, 3 days later, ECAS shows DM- no need to redo medical- so happy. I think they have extended my medical.

Hello guys, any news from cic yet?......the waiting is killing me too much.......the fews of us left from 2010 why are they holding us up for too long.

Soon you will get a respond from cic I felt they see way last week cic also received my application in December and two other person that I read in this forum who their application were received in December also got DM so let job that they are dealing with the bottom listers of 2010 so cheer up honey it won't last forever

I have the same landing date, at 8:15AM!  See you there.  I believe they are asking for your passport and any other travel document you have.

**If I didn't add you please list the date your app was received, started processing, when you received AIP/DM, what date you are landing and city your landing in (fill in what applies) and I will add you ASAP. If I messed up any of your data please inform me. I sometimes make errors so forgive me. Also, if it appears that your AIP date is different it is because by the time e-Cas updates you on it, the decision had been made 2 days before that. So that is what I put. Please confirm with your AIP letter date if you feel it is wrong and I can correct if it is.**

I would appreciate if the following member could update me on their files: Bluesky2010 on their AIP date. Thanks!
